Branding your Enterprise
Your brand is the identity of your specific product, service, or business. A brand consists of a name, a sign, a symbol, or a logo, but also the lay-out of presentations and documents, and incorporates specific colour combinations, typefaces, and perhaps even a slogan. At CoautchouC, we do feel that 'brand' means your own identity or personality as well, so we work to get your identity across in the brand we will help you build or expand.
Our efforts towards the branding of your enterprise can take many forms. From (re-) designing your company logo, (re-) designing and or (re-) constructing your website, designing a business card or a flyer, to the creation of your house style or even company style guide. We help you to define the look of every communication of yoour company, be it paper based or digital, from letterhead to website.
Of course, CaoutchouC listens to you and your desires. Rather than forcing a design on you because it looks nice, we like to create something in unison, that in the end will reflect your identity and your enterprise. At the same time, we do so in a way that works commercially, that attracts and retains as many customers as possible.Corporate Identity
Corporate Identity and how Design can help
Corporate identity is the organizational philosophy behind an enterprise. It expresses itself in the 'culture' of an enterprise, and is reflected in the branding of the organisation. Most directly for your customers or consumers, this identity is expressed in the visual presence of your company, and whether this tells them who you are and how you do what you do.
CaoutchouC helps to define and design this visual corporate identity, to make sure you show the outside world who you are, to make your company easily recognisable, and to reflect your values, beliefs and approach to business at the same time.
Usually, a visual corporate identity ranges from a logo, a specific (set of) colour(s) and typeface(s), and supporting design for paper and digital applications, assembled within a set of guidelines, the 'style guide'. These guidelines govern how the identity is applied and confirm approved colour palettes, typefaces, page layouts and other such methods of maintaining visual continuity and brand recognition across all physical manifestations of your brand.
Surprisingly, or perhaps not, the smallest task in branding your company or enterprise turns out to be the hardest of them all. Designing a good logo. All starts with your brief: what do you want the logo to tell, what identity to convey.
Based on this brief, CaoutchouC performs research on your branche or industry, and will compare relevant competitors' logos. This leads to what we like to call 'informed inspiration' to create something unique and ownable. The creative process follows a route through brainstorming and sketching, working with as many ideas as possible. These ideas are then narrowed down to the most relevant, and features of sketches are reduced to the most striking and useful.
The logo only then makes its way onto a computer, and here things start to come together. Refining the design, stripping out design overkill, testing the 'physical' design itself, checking that it looks good on all media and in all sizes. Then we think of colours, primary and secondary ones, and typeface(s). In this we will always keep an eye on your corporate identity as a whole, your style guide, be it an existing one or style-guide-to-be.Corporate Identity House Style
House Style and Style Guides
The 'House Style' of your enterprise is how all your communications look. This is not just making sure your logo is on everything that leaves your premises, it also involves where exactly the logo is placed, and how it works together with all other elements. This furthermore means the lay-out and colour setting of your website, or of your headed paper. This means which fonts you use, the fontsizes you use, how your business card is set up, your compliment slips, everything.
The 'look and feel' of your enterprise are core to how you present, to how you brand yourself. A simple typeface change may completely alter the identity you portray. To make sure that this look and feel is fitting, and applied consistently, CaoutchouC will create a 'style guide' for your firm, basically the handbook on what goes where and how.Logo Design
Print and Paperwork
A large part of how you present yourself to the outside world will be on printed materials. You will first think of flyers, brochures, and posters, but you also present yourself on mundane things as your letterhead, compliment slips, receipts or invoices. Every shred of paper that you send out into the world brings across your brand, your corporate indentity, your company culture.
It is therefore crucial to make sure all the different pieces of printed work are in sync with each other. Through the composition of a style guide, and the design of each of these printed items in tandem, CaoutchouC can help your enterprise to keep its branding consistent, and across the board.Cards
Cards, business or otherwise
At CaoutchouC, we feel that cards are like little gifts, even a simple business card. We aim to design cards that are unique to you, and to your business; cards that will stand out, and underpin your corporate identity.

Of course, CaoutchouC likes to make sure that this unique presentation card fits in with your overall corporate identity, and will integrate its design with your existing company style guide, or we will help you to formaulate a style guide.
And we do not only design business cards. Any card you may need, for example invitations to an event, or a funny postcard to send your clients for Christmas or Diwali or Eid, CaoutchouC is ready to design them all. And of course with a keen eye not just for beauty, but also for commercial sense.Posters Letterhead
Letterheads and Stationery
At CaoutchouC, we believe that your headed paper is just as important in conveying your brand and your identity as your website or business card. Your stationery is therefore an integral part of our approach to branding your enterprise, and a full subject of the style guide we like to create for your company.
We aim to design stationery that is unique to you, and to your business; letters and compliment slips that will stand out, and underpin your corporate identity. CaoutchouC will help to ascertain that every printed item in your company will belong together, and support and build the brand.Cards Flyers
Flyers, Brochures, and Posters
At CaoutchouC, we believe that flyers and brochures are crucial not only in gathering custom and customers, but also in conveying your brand and your identity as a whole. Whilst they can be tailored to the specific occasion or proiduct you wish to advertise, CaoutchouC will design them with an eye on your overall branding strategy and style guide. So even if that one flyer stands out, and is unique, it will still be recognisable as yours.
So even if though we aim to design flyers and brochures that are unique to you, we want it to always belong to you and your company. In this way, any communications that will stand out will promote your business or product to its best, and simultaneously underpin your corporate identity.
Often overlooked in favour of easily distributed flyers or information-rich brochures, posters can have a major and lasting impact. Posters convey a message in a unique and highly visible fashion. They are unique as they speak to many people at once, and far more than flyers or brochures, have a tendency to be judged on design. Often, posters stand the test of time, and you may well end up having them framed and displayed long after they told their message.
CaoutchouC works with you to define a striking message and will cast this in a striking design, of course with an eye on getting the message accross that the flyer, brochure, or poster is designed for, not just at looking good.Letterhead

The different pages of the CaoutchouC website showcase several quite different lay-outs and approaches to presenting information, whilst at the same time safeguarding a set of common feautures to maintain a continuous style. Feel free to explore these different page look and feels, and we will gladly discuss what kind of website fits you and your company best. CaoutchouC offers a range of types of websites, ranging from a simple webpresence, via a more extensive brochure site, to fully fledged company websites with content management and client interaction. All this at prices that are highly competitive.
One of your most common ways of communicating with your customers is no doubt email. Whilst many peoople these days amke sure they feature a signature at the bottom of each message, most emails still look like a quick note. At CaoutchouC, we believe that emails have the potential to promote your enterpise and corporate identity justa s much as printed materials.
We therefore include email design in our approach to your company house style and style guide, and will design a message template that will clearly promote your corporate identity to the recipient.
CaoutchouC can furthermore create 'email shots', in fact digital flyers that feature extensive lay-out and the possibility to interact directly with your website and the information found there.Webdesign Templates
Templates for Digital Documents
At CaoutchouC, we believe that digital documents such as word files or PDFs are just as important as printed ones. In fact, a very large percentage of product information and documentation these days is in digital form. Such documents are therefore equally crucial not only in gathering custom and customers, but also in conveying your brand and your identity as a whole, as paper-based ones.
CaoutchouC will design them with an eye on your overall branding strategy and style guide, incoroporating these documents into your corporate identity. In this way, any digital files you send out will further promote your business or product to its best, and simultaneously underpin your corporate identity.Email Smartphones
Smartphones - Compatibility and Corporate Apps
CaoutchouC develops all things web and digital with a clear eye on so-called 'smartphones', e.g. iPhone, Android driven phones, and related equipment such as the iPad. Many things built for internet do not work seamlessly on a smartphone or tabletdevice. Most notably, a fantastic and impressive website built using 'Flash' will not show up at all on an Apple device.
With increasing numbers of people accessing the internet, and thus potentially your company's website, Caoutchouc keeps a close eye on the smartphone technology, and designs their webapplications accordingly. We either build your website fully compliant with smartphone operating systems, or make sure coding degrades beautifully. Alternatively we can develop a dedicated aprallel site for smartphones; in all cases your site will be useable on any platform or device.
Last but not least, CaoutchouC can design and construct an iPhone or Google App for your enterprise. Possibilities here are only limited by whether you deem this an essentail channel to promote your company, and on accceptance of such an app by the various app-store moderators.Templates
